NAPA Results Are In

The results of the NAPA (National Alzheimer's Project Act) are in!  Thanks to everyone who shared their thoughts and experiences at community meetings, in letters, through phone calls, and via e-mail.

Over 130 public input sessions were held across the country over several months this summer and autumn, and ten major challenges appeared frequently.  "A lack of public awareness" tops the list, followed by "insufficient research funding" and "difficulty with diagnosis."

Now that this significant amount of data has been collected, a plan will be formulated.  Keep an eye out for more news concerning dementia and these findings; hopefully we are a step closer to ending Alzheimer's.  Thanks to everyone who participated!
